Ecobots Cotton Prefold Nappies - Newborn

With six layers of cotton in the centre panel, these pre-fold newborn nappies have 14 layers of cotton when folded in three.  Giving plenty of absorbency where you need it.  Quick to dry and easy to care for and wash.  In the early days you will be changing regularly, as newborn babies tend to have wet and dirty nappies often.  These pre-fold newborn nappies have a quick turn around time as they dry quickly. As with other pre-fold systems, you only need to change the insert each time, unless your nappy cover becomes soiled.

When new these nappies measure 37cm x 26cm, although they will fluff up slightly, and therefore shrink slightly after the first wash.  This means that they are not too bulky on tiny babies.  Later on, when too small to use as nappies in their own right, they are perfect for wiping up, burp cloths and boosting other nappies.  

Ecobots recommendation:
You will probably need between three and four 6 packs of pre-fold newborn nappies for full time use.  These will require a separate waterproof cover. You could expect to need between 4 and 6 covers for full time use.
