A plastic-free dish brush that is made with a sustainably sourced beech wood handle and head with Tampico (vegetable) fibre bristles. Products that are fully biodegradable.
Tampico is a very robust fibre from the yellow leaf of the agave cactus, which grows only in the highlands of northern Mexico. Tampico has great water-retaining properties, is resistant and hard-wearing. It also keeps its shape without softening. The fibre has tiny hooks on the shafts, which gives it a natural slightly abrasive quality.
The head can easily be replaced by opening up the metal ring that holds it in place. Place the brush head in the compost and replace with a new brush head.
Once the handle has reached end of life remove all the metal components and compost.
Compostable
Handle measures approx. 14cm
Featuring a loop hook at the end of easy hanging.
Please note that because these are made to allow the metal parts to be removed for disposal, the metal connecting the head of the brush to the handle can at times pull apart. Simply reattaching should be all that is required. This is not necessarily a faulty product.
