KEEP YOUR BRUSH DRY

Bamboo is a natural material that is best kept in a dry area. 

CLEANING THE BRISTLES

You can wash and care for our bristles just like a conventional toothbrush.

YOUR HANDLE

Bamboo is natural woody material that will fade over time. The bamboo on the top portion of your toothbrush that goes in your mouth may begin to appear lighter and faded with use. This is normal! It will not affect your brushing experience.

REUSE OR COMPOST THE HANDLE

The bare toothbrush handle can be disposed of in a commercial composting bin and will safely return to the soil within 6 months. However, the handle is a perfectly good piece of high quality bamboo – feel free to reuse it in your garden or any other creative area.

DISPOSAL OF HUMBLE BRUSH

The different parts of the toothbrush can be disassembled for proper disposal. Using pliers, it is easy to remove the bristles from the head. Doing so will also remove a small metal staple that is used to clamp the bristles to the handle - this along with the bristles will need to go to landfill unless your local council has a recycling facility for the bristles. The handle can be reused or disposed of in a commercial composting bin.
